Tablet buyers interested in Acer's upcoming Iconia Tab A200 will pick up a few tidbits from a promo video now showing up online.
Popping up on YouTube and appearing below, the two-minute promo starts off in typical advertising fashion with a family gathered around a campfire and then at home sharing and using thetablet. But scattered throughout the ad are some interesting details.
The tablet will come with both a USB port and a microSD card slot, allowing people to share files with other devices. A standard Webcam is included for shooting video and chatting online.
Owners will be able to link and view content from their tablet on their TVs, PCs, smartphones, media players, and other gadgets courtesy of Acer's Clear.fi, a software program that can connect devices on a home network.
The tablet will also tap into the Acer Ring, a round onscreen menu that offers access to a variety of applications and features. By placing five fingers on the screen, you can call up the Ring and from there launch the camera, Webcam, games, a settings panel, and even a disk optimizer.
And from the looks of the video, the tablet is likely to be runningAndroid Honeycomb.

Powered by an Nvidia Tegra 2 processor, the tablet will offer 1GB of RAM and sport a resolution of 1280x800 pixels. Weighing just 1.5 pounds, the A200 will be lighter than its A500 predecessor. And it will be offered in a choice of two colors: black titanium or metallic red.
Set to make its public debut at the 2012 Consumer Electronics show in January, the A200 is likely to sell for around $400, according to iLoveTablette.com. Unveiled at CES this past January and reaching consumers in April, the A500 sells for under $400 at most retailers.
No launch date was revealed in the video. But The Verge and other tech news sites believe the presence of Honeycomb instead of Ice Cream Sandwich is a sign of an "imminent launch," which could mean the tablet will pop up sooner than iLoveTablette.com is expecting.
