Logitech’s TV Camera makes it possible to make and receive Skype video calls on your large HDTV, meaning a bigger, clearer image of the person you’re talking too.
The high-definition camera plugs into any HDTV via a HDMI input and uses the television’s Ethernet or Wi-Fi - meaning no additional software is needed to get up and running on Skype. Just log in as you would on your phone or computer. The
Logitech TV Camera HD comes with a bundled remote controller, while the camera itself features Carl Zeiss optics and Logitech’s own Fluid CrystalTM Technology. Four microphones help improve the audio quality, eliminating external noise.

Even when you’re not using the camera, Logitech’s device remains awake and ready should you receive a Skype call unexpectedly, alerting the user with a ringer built into the camera.
The Logitech TV Camera HD will be rolled out across the US and Europe throughout August and September with an expected retail price of around $199 (£127 approx.).
